This section of the site is dedicated to the internal combustion engine and all forms of sport that use it.
Various sub-sections including the Mk1 Escort bit which was the includes the various Ford Escort rally cars I have rallied over the years and pictures, specifications and build history etc of the same. As you may be able to tell I am mad keen on the idea of rear wheel drive rally cars, they are much more fun than front or 4wd - both to drive and to watch. Have added a short section on a Triumph TR8 rally car owned by a friend which I helped to build/modify. This car is a hoot to drive because it’s practically uncontrollable!
Videos will have an ever changing selection of motor-sport clips (from rallying and circuit racing in the main) that I enjoy or are good (the two are not
necesarily the same!). Just put up some new videos from the Wyedean rally in February this year - lots of Mk2 Escorts - more to follow.
Pictures will generally be ones taken on the events I have visited, you never know, you may find them useful or interesting. If you want to use them please let me know and I’ll send you decent resolution files.
Links section generally motorsport related links but some others that I find good thrown in for good measure.
Events section is where you can find the motor racing events that are my favourites and not to be missed, as well as a calendar of forthcoming events. Up-dating the calendar at the moment with 2004 events, dates for Santa Pod Raceway, and British F3/GT championships now known.
